Well i know news on 2008 is slow in coming but we will have the details up soooon…..

Till then let me plug something happening this Saturday night! IT is a launch night for the Soul in the City mission happening later this year! It will be a top night with awesome worship and a challenge for us to join with a mission to impact all of Canberra!

Details are: Saturday 2nd Feb - Meet at the church at 6pm we will be going to St Pauls Anglican Church Hall, 1 View St Chatswood we will drop you back at the church by 9:45pm and it is FREE

Hey all!

Well this Friday night we are having a challenge to end all challenges - an X-Box challenge!  Come along this Friday night as we battle each other to determine who is the X-Box champion!! Plus we will have our usual of ping-pong, cards, Puno and just hanging out.

So bring $5ish for some snacks, a sense of excitement and determination and of course YOUR FRIENDS! And with that we will see you at 7.30pm for 2 hours of fun i.e. pick-up at 9.30pm!

Just a reminder that Kids Club will be starting up this week.  So remember to enter via the side door rather than the front and also, if you know of any primary school aged kids that would love having fun on a Friday afternoon, tell them to go along!

Oh and lastly, don’t forget to let me know if you are wake-boarding/skiing on Sunday and which friends you are bringing so we can work out numbers!

Hey hwy how are we??!!

Well we are heading, as part of Ignite Space, to the Georges River to go water skiing and wake-boarding!!! CAN I GET A WOOHOO!!!

Sunday, 18th Nov, we are heading for a day on the water.  We are meeting at Maroubra Baptist Church at 7am to then leave as soon as we can and heading up to the Georges River.  We will spend the day there and be back at church for pick-up at 3pm.

You will need to bring $35 which includes lunch - this is the cheapest water skiing you will ever find EVER ANYWHERE! So come along for an awesome day! AND BRING YOUR FRIENDS! The more the merrier lol

All you need to do to be able to come is to let me or Andy know, either via email, posting on the website or msg/calling us to say “yes Im in” and how many people you are bringing with you.

Hope to see heaps and heaps and heaps of you there bright and early on that Sunday morning pumped and ready to take on the water,

Hey how are we all? Hope the week has been a good one,

well even if it has or it hasn’t it will be an awesome Friday night to end the week with Ignite Space 1920’s themed!! We will be having fun playing ping-pong, cards, chilling out and just having fun whilst also, thanks Ashwin, playing some Mafia to fit with the whole theme of things!

So come along for a night of fun, 7.30pm-9.30pm at Maroubra Baptist Church, bring about $3 for snacks - more if you want more snacks, yourself and more importantly YOUR FRIENDS! Ignite Space is all about friends so definately make a solid effort this week to bring them.

And Ignite Church is back for term 4!
So looking forward to this Friday night, not only to see all you guys, but to get back into the swing of what ‘church’ really is and learning more about what it means to really follow Chist and be a part of his people called the church.

It will be an awesome night of fun, hanging out, eating, playing games but also chatting and working through some of thoughts that you guys have on this thing called life.

So 7.30pm-9.30pm @ the Maroubra Baptist, bring $2 for supper and your desire for fun!

Hey all how are we?

Firstly, my apologies for not being able to regularly update the Ignite website at all last term.  Something was going very wrong with my log in - but all is fixed and we are up and running!

So to kick off Term 4 with a bang we are having an outdoor movie! Everybody loves movies, especially outdoor ones lol.  So bring some money as well as your friends to Ignite Space tomorrow night (19th Oct) to kick off @ 7.30pm at Maroubra Baptist Church where we will have lots of awesome movie junk food as well as lots of fun just hanging out!  The night will end at our regular time of 9.30pm.

So excited that Ignite is back up and running for the term.  Looking forward to seeing you all,

Hey all,

I know the website has been quiet this term, a few tech problems that should now be fixed. Well we are working hard on some ideas for next term, we are going to keep going with our bi-weekly rhythm of Ignitespace and then Ignite Church. Remember Ignitespace is a place for friends, a place for you to invite your mates and have a great time together!

Ok so if we haven’t already got the term plan up pop some comments on ideas for new spaces, new themes or outings.

Hey all!

The new term plan is now up check it out! we have some awesome things planned including a trip to Zone 3! and an all night lock in!

We will also be participating in the 40hr famine! make sure you watch the “teenage affluenza” video below so you know why we are doing it…

So what is ignition? Well this week we are going to find out, the Dictionary says this:

1.    the act or fact of igniting; state of being ignited.
2.    a means or device for igniting.

So you will find out more this friday!

We have lots of cool stuff planned for term 3! so hold on becouse we will soon have the details up here…. all i will say is get ready for ignition….

How we doin all?

I have always wanted to either a) figure skate, or b) skate on a frozen lake neither of which have come true at this stage lol 

Well we have come to our last Ignite Friday night for the term - man hasn’t the term gone so fast! And so to end the term is fashionable Ignite style, we are going ICE SKATING! We will be heading out to Macquarie and joining West Ryde Young Life for the night.

So meet at MBC at 6pm to leave as soon as we can, bring $16 which is entry + extra if you want to buy food as there is a Maccas just above where we ice skate.  We should be home by about 10ish but tell your parents you will call to give them enough time to pick you up.

Guys bring as many people as you want along on Friday night - the more the merrier, and West Ryde will be bringing peeps so it will be HUGE!

So excited to see you there, if not, have an awesome hols and come pumped and ready to start back Term 3,
